​   Life in Palam

• Unlike the rest of my classmates, I stayed at campus in Dengkil for a few weeks before transferring to campus in Palam. I only told a few of my classmates about my arrival and Devana was the first to meet me because she lived in the block next to mine and I wanted to borrow her broom.

• I wasn't expecting such a warm welcome because I didn't really socialise much and while I was in Dengkil, everyone else had bonded with one another.. But when I came down to Dahlia Café without notice for one of our morning classes, everyone was.. Surprisingly shocked and they started getting all excited and spammed the group chat with questions. "Is that Azimah?" "That's Azimah, right? Or am I tripping?" It was quite a sight, to be honest.

• What surprised me to the core was when Radin gave me.. A welcoming gift. I think. It was a box filled with Haikyuu keychains >< For context, I knew Radin before finding out we were in the same class. We knew each other from a group chat whose members comprising people we met on Twitter and decided to create a group chat. Just for the purpose of making friends and getting comfortable before university life started ;3

• I don't have a single photo of my housemates in Palam ;( but they were all super nice. Just like in Dengkil, all of my housemates were Sarawakian as well. Beatrice had … everything. I always used her stuffs and she was always cool about it ^^ Fai (short for Faizatul) was really considerate and would never hesitate when it comes to giving. I'm starting to get convinced that people named Fai are always sweet and thoughtful. Kyu, on the other hand, we just get along well >< She's amiable and never fails to make people around her feel at ease.
